Our Journey

The Maheshwari Doctors Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of the Maheshwari community.

We are an independent grassroots organization based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, working to keep the Maheshwari Doctor’s community united.

Our Mission:
Started our journey 23 years back with the mission to keep the Dhat Maheshwari doctors of Gujarat connected and give back to the community what we have received from it.
Our Establishment:
In 1999, we established the association with a very few number of doctors. But the association has grown phenomenally and currently has over 250 doctors as its members.
Our Growth:
This is the oldest and organized association of Maheshwari Dhat community which regularly conducts annual general body meetings and elections every two years. Since its inception , the organization has been running in a democratic manner.

Collaboration

MDA helps to connect Maheshwari doctors to this organization. Entertainment programs like picnics and diwali get together arranged for the families of the doctors to keep them united.

Contribute

We believe in our community and what we can contribute to it. For the welfare of the community, MDA is working dedicatedly and arranging Medical camps, Blood donation camps and healthcare programs.

Excellence

We arrange continuous medical and Scientific education programs to keep our doctors uptodate in their medical skills and knowledge and provide guidance to the young Maheshwari Doctors.

We believe that diverse groups of people who are different in some way will produce better results when they work together. As part of our mission, we also believe in giving back to the community and helping others. Collaboration between people who are unique in some way will contribute more significant results. Additionally, we encourage our members to participate in the larger Maheshwari community. MDA is a network of doctors with roots in the Indian state of Gujarat, started a new initiative for community members to easily connect with all doctors of the community through the first "Maheshwari doctor’s web directory" launch.
